IELTS Invigilator Recruitment

ILAC IELTS is recruiting Invigilators/Proctors for our IELTS tests in Vancouver and Surrey. Testing takes place approximately two to three times a month on Saturdays.

Most shifts are approx. 7:30am to 12:30pm or 11:30am to 5pm. The rate is $20 per hour.

A minimum two-year commitment is required. Please do not apply if you cannot make this commitment.

Essential Attributes:

• 
  Clear spoken English and ease in reading aloud to a group
• Positive attitude and desire to create a great customer experience
• Ability to adhere to extensive instructions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Sensitivity in dealing with clients from a wide range of backgrounds
• Judgement in ensuring there is no conflict of interest in test delivery
• Physically able to cope with extended periods of standing and light furniture movement

Duties:

• 
  Set up and take down of test rooms
• Processing candidates through security screening
• Administering tests to standard
• Managing test day processing to ensure clients receive a standardized, positive test experience

Interview and Training

• 
  Selected applicants will be required to attend a group interview via Zoom.
• Those who are successful at the interview will be invited to attend a Zoom training session.
