Description
Lead Corporate Sandwich Cook
Edge Catering is an established, thriving corporate and event catering company. Our custom-built facility is located in the East Village, 5000sq ft. catering kitchen, pastries, tasting room and offices.
We are looking for an experienced catering cook to join our team.
General Responsibilities:
- Prep and package daily order for corporate and special events
- Able to supervise and work with a team of 3 - 4 people
- Follow detailed worksheet orders
- Make allergy specific item to customers needs
- Integrate with our team and work environment
- Follow all recipes and standards
- Write and follow prep lists
- Organize and maintain freezers, fridges and storage
- Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work spaces
- Assist chefs with monthly inventory
Requirements:
- 3 years experience as a cook or in food service
- FoodSafe level 1
- Legal to work in Canada (minimum 2 years on work permit)
- Catering experience is an asset
We are currently hiring for full time and part time positions. Full time schedule is with 6 am start times depending on volume. Weekend and part-time days may vary depending on business.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
