We are looking for a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee operations at our furniture manufacturing plant in Lumberton, NC. This is a full-time, on-site role with a salary range of $75,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience. About the Role
As the Plant Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 30 employees in a small but dynamic facility. Your primary focus will be overseeing day-to-day operations, including production, milling, and finishing processes. You will ensure productivity, maintain quality control, and uphold safety standards. As we expand our milling and finishing capabilities, you will play a key role in driving this growth and taking on increasing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
You will manage the full production process, from operating and troubleshooting CNC milling machines, panel saws, and edgebanders to monitoring production schedules to meet deadlines and customer needs. You will collaborate with senior management on plant expansion efforts, equipment upgrades, and process improvements. Ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements will also be a critical part of your role.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership and technical skills. You will need to step in and support your team wherever necessary, whether that means troubleshooting equipment, optimizing workflows, or training employees. Your ability to lead by example and adapt to challenges will be essential to your success.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with CNC milling machines, panel saws, and edgebanders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of UV Flatline finishing is a plus but not required.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team management abilities.
